Instead of municipal early childhood education, families can also use private early childhood education services or opt for the home care allowance.
There are currently seven private day care centres in the Raahe area. If a family hires a private care provider at their home, they must contact sanna.ilmakangas [at] raahe.fi for approval of the care provider.
