Taiteen perusopetus
Kuvataidekoulu Purjeen ja käsityökoulu Solmun opetuksessa noudatetaan valtakunnallisia taiteen perusopetuksen opetussuunnitelman perusteita. Opinnoista on mahdollista saada taidekoulun päättötodistus n. 9 vuoden tai 500 tunnin opiskelun jälkeen.
Taiteen perusopetuksen ryhmiin voi ilmoittautua Raahe-opiston sähköisessä ilmoittautumisjärjestelmässä.
Taidekoulut on tarkoitettu 6-18 -vuotiaille lapsille ja nuorille.
Oppilailta voidaan periä opetuksesta kohtuullisia maksuja.

Jätehuolto
Valtakunnallisena tavoitteena on nostaa jätteiden kierrätysastetta 65 prosenttiin vuoteen 2035 mennessä. Tavoitteen saavuttaminen edellyttää, että meistä jokainen lajittelee ja kierrättää jätteensä. Jätteiden lajittelun avulla säästämme luonnonvaroja ja hidastamme myös ilmastonmuutosta.
Jätehuollon järjestävänä tahona toimii Tekninen keskus ja valvovana viranomaisena lupa- ja valvontajaosto. Jätehuoltoa säätelevät jätelain ja jäteasetuksen lisäksi Raahen kaupungin jätehuoltomääräykset.
