Raahe’s cultural offering surprises with its versatility. Numerous plays, musical performances, visiting authors and children’s events provide memorable experiences throughout the year.
Raahe Event House

The Raahe Event House (Tapahtumatalo) is the centre of cultural life in Raahe. The spectacular cultural and conference facilities serve as the venue for numerous events. Raahe’s Cultural Services organise several events aimed at people of various ages every year, such as the Raahe Music Weeks, Pekanpäivät event and Night of the Arts. Gallery Myötätuuli and the green room of Raahesali Hall located in the Event House offer regularly changing exhibitions by artists and collectors. The Event House is also home to Cinema Huvimylly.
Raahe Theatre

Raahe Theatre is the pinnacle of open-air and indoor theatre experiences. The theatre also organises events and training for the sub-region’s performing arts organisations.
