Taiteen perusopetus
Kuvataidekoulu Purjeen ja käsityökoulu Solmun opetuksessa noudatetaan valtakunnallisia taiteen perusopetuksen opetussuunnitelman perusteita. Opinnoista on mahdollista saada taidekoulun päättötodistus n. 9 vuoden tai 500 tunnin opiskelun jälkeen.
Taiteen perusopetuksen ryhmiin voi ilmoittautua Raahe-opiston sähköisessä ilmoittautumisjärjestelmässä.
Taidekoulut on tarkoitettu 6-18 -vuotiaille lapsille ja nuorille.
Oppilailta voidaan periä opetuksesta kohtuullisia maksuja.

Raahen kaupungin nuorisopalveluiden nuoriso-ohjaajat vierailevat tarvelähtöisesti kouluilla ja oppilaitoksissa. Tavoitteena on lisätä kouluviihtyvyyttä, vähentää nuorten poissaoloja, vahvistaa kaverisuhteita, auttaa opinnoissa sekä markkinoida Raahen eri harrastusmahdollisuuksia ja vapaa-ajanviettopaikkoja opiskelijoille. Nuoriso-ohjaajat tekevät yhteistyötä yläkoulujen ja toisen asteen oppilaitosten henkilökunnan, opiskelijoiden, oppilaskunnan ja tutoreiden kanssa.
