Kuvataidekoulu Purjeen ja käsityökoulu Solmun opetuksessa noudatetaan valtakunnallisia taiteen perusopetuksen opetussuunnitelman perusteita. Opinnoista on mahdollista saada taidekoulun päättötodistus n. 9 vuoden tai 500 tunnin opiskelun jälkeen.
Taiteen perusopetuksen ryhmiin voi ilmoittautua Raahe-opiston sähköisessä ilmoittautumisjärjestelmässä.
Taidekoulut on tarkoitettu 6-18 -vuotiaille lapsille ja nuorille.
Oppilailta voidaan periä opetuksesta kohtuullisia maksuja.

Lukiokoulutukseen osallistuvalla on oikeus opinto-ohjaukseen, joka tukee opiskelijaa opinnoissa ja auttaa häntä valmistautumaan lukion jälkeisiin opintoihin ja työelämään.
